Inter2000 PACS - QA
Workstation
While a PACS or other image management system
simplifies access to images, it must also provide a method for validating
patient demographic and study data against image data. The Inter2000 PACS-QA
Workstation does just that. Before any image and associated information is
delivered to PACS, it is first sent to the PACS-QA Workstation. The PACS-QA
Workstation then validates that the patient information provided with the image
is in fact the correct information by comparing it to the Modality Worklist
Manager database. After validating that the information is correct, the PACS-QA
Workstation automatically releases the image and information to the PACS. If the
information is incorrect, the image and information are held at the PACS-QA
Workstation for administrator review and editing. This ensures the accuracy and
reliability of patient and study information.
Inter2000 CR Agent
The Inter2000 CR Agent provides an error-free
method for integrating patient and study data with radiographic images, giving
radiologists the information they need to make accurate assessments. The CR
Agent pulls information directly from your HIS/RIS and creates the Modality
Worklist Manager, an easy-to-use graphical interface displayed on a workstation
that is networked to a Fuji CR ID terminal which in turn is networked to the
Fuji CR reader. By clicking on a patient name or any other field in the worklist,
the user transmits the associated information to the Fuji CR reader via the ID
terminal. On the Fuji CR reader, the information is then integrated with the
X-Ray image. From there, the image and information can be sent together to any
DICOM archive server or image viewing workstation on the local or wide area
network.
Inter2000 VICS
For analog video image or digital modalities
without DICOM support, Inter2000 Video Image Capture System (VICS) allows users
to select and capture a portion, or frame, of the video-generated image and
combine it with the associated patient/study information by using the Modality
Worklist Manager. The DICOM-compliant image and information can then be sent to
any DICOM archive server or any viewing station on the local or wide area
network.
Inter2000 Film Digitizer
Like the CR Agent, the Inter2000 Film Digitizer
pulls information from your HIS/RIS and transfers it into the Modality Worklist
Manager for display on the workstation. With a TWAIN interface built into the
scan manager of the Film Digitizer, the user can easily acquire a desired DICOM
format image from any film digitizer simply by clicking on the patient name. The
image and associated patient and study information are displayed for quality
assurance on the workstation, from which they can be transmitted across the
network to any DICOM archive server or any viewing workstation.
