PowerARCHIVE is the first product to offer affordable unattended CD/DVD production for PACS off-site archiving and disaster recovery. As HIPAA regulations loom closer, this new approach to off-site disaster recovery is extremely affordable when compared to traditional methods, such as using large bandwidth lines to mirror data or using an ASP approach.
Power Archive Product Sheet

Once PowerARCHIVE is installed and configured at the imaging facility, it requires minimal attention. PowerARCHIVE can be configured to produce CDs or DVDs on a scheduled basis, such as every night, or on a resource basis when the CD or DVD becomes full. Imagine the simplicity of having an entire 24-hour period of images and data centralized on one disk. Completed disks labeled for off-site can now be stored with other vital facility data such as the healthcare provider’s RIS, HIS, or office data backups.

The password-protected PowerARCHIVE automatically maintains an inventory of every image archived. Its easy-to-learn graphic user interface can search images by patient name, patient number, modality, physician, date, and more. In the event of a disaster, images can be copied back to the imaging center’s online archive by placing the needed disks back into PowerARCHIVE. And, since the images are saved in DICOM 3.0, any computer with a CD/DVD-ROM drive can also access the disks.

Power Archive Advantages:

  • Stores images in full resolution DICOM or compressed files

  • Customizable auto-printing schedule

  • Built-in redundancy of images

  • Automatically labels each disk

  • Centralizes all images and related data

  • Offers remote configuration and analysis

  • Suitable for HIPAA requirements
